Setting up to set out!

Like we did last year for the first time, we took the coach a couple days early to Jonathan Dickinson State Park, where we could open it up and fire up the air conditioning, to make loading and organizing for a long trip more comfortable in the Florida summer heat!  The refrigerator is cold to transfer foods,  I can do a good interior cleaning before hitting the road,  we can load up the cats and spend our last night, and head out earlier in the morning.    It has been so rainy this last month, followed by immediate summer, which set in with a vengeance!  We once again had the opportunity to watch the Great Blue Herons nest and successfully raise two chicks, and  to see them fledge before our departure.  What an experience, with a front row seat from our kitchen window!
And now we are ready to set out for our 2018 adventure!

The birds have flown, and now so shall we!
