Our next stop of the day was fun, though less informative than I would have expected. While waiting for a video, a guide gave us some very basic history, and pointed out some of the original signs and the white urn you see in the display case as what you would have encountered in a pharmacy in the early days of its availability, the video itself was merely one gigantic 8 minute coke commercial! Effective and touching.....yes, I got a bit misty eyed.....I would have preferred a bit more about the company and history. But the masses rushed for the tasting room, so that perhaps is the big attraction!
100 flavors from around the world you can taste! A peek inside the vault where supposedly the still secret formula resides, a very convivial polar bear with whom you can take your photograph, some coke art and a chance to design a bottle, and you can exit through the gift shop! Number 2 attraction in Atlanta, but I'll give it 3 stars.
(More photos to follow)
Wifi at campground is awful, and I am mobile posting, but
Words don't come through with the photos ....and can't send too many photos as once.
