Lunch at winery, then canasta in the coach during the rain

The owner of the Nashoba Valley Winery started making fruit wines in a warehouse in Concord, and moved and expanded the operation to the hills here, where he grows some grapes.  The addition of the restaurant in an old house on the property, as well as outdoor concerts adds to the charm. 

How many meals have we shared??  Long time friends David and Cindy enjoying a lovely lunch with us, one of probably thousands of meals together over the years. 

Then back to the coach as the rains started, and we went in for a bit of afternoon canasta! 

 I had a meal I had prepared at home in the freezer, so I thawed it, and Chris called and came by , and the five of us had a nice dinner and visit!  A lovely day!
